My venue already has a wedding planner/coordinator. Do I still need to hire someone else?

Typically, these venue contacts don’t offer true day-of coordination.

This way you secure the date with them and don’t have to worry about it. You will speak with them about a month before the wedding and provide them with all information such as booked vendors and services, list of decorations, bridal party names, etc. They will tell you what they need. Your coordinator will help you to design your wedding day timeline and contact all the vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page.
