When Kimberly & Sean, two artistic souls from Seattle, began planning their wedding, they had one bold vision: a Great Gatsby Las Vegas wedding. With a guest list of just 50 people, they wanted something flirty, modern, and fun — but also dripping with glamour, laughter, and Old Vegas charm.
After reviewing several venues, nothing came close to the stunning MidCentury Manor. With its historic pedigree and sweeping views, it was the perfect stage for a Gatsby-inspired celebration in Las Vegas.

The MidCentury Manor isn’t just another Las Vegas wedding venue. Once home to Jay Sarno, the legendary casino developer behind Caesars Palace and Circus Circus, the property is steeped in Old Vegas history. The architecture is mid-century modern at its finest: a dramatic great room with soaring beamed ceilings, a stone fireplace, retro lines, and manicured gardens.

Kimberly & Sean describe themselves as flirty, modern, and fun. They love to hike in the Pacific Northwest forests, dive into tabletop games, and share laughter over video games. Sean’s background as a professional musician and MC for burlesque shows gave him a natural flair for entertainment — which meant their wedding had to be lively, unforgettable, and stress-free.

Design & Details
The couple chose a bold palette of plum, black, and white, accented with metallic art-deco details. With Beeing Flower’s lush floral arrangements, Javo Cakes’ stunning cake design, and Balloon Artisan’s “poring champagne” statement installations, the space transformed into a roaring ’20s dream.
The MidCentury Manor’s dramatic interior reduced the need for heavy décor. Instead, we leaned into lighting, floral drama, and entertainment touches to enhance the atmosphere without overwhelming it.
The MidCentury Manor’s history as the former home of Jay Sarno — the casino developer behind Caesars Palace and Circus Circus — gave the wedding an authentic Old Vegas pedigree that fit perfectly with the Gatsby theme.

Guests then moved into a cocktail hour with magic by Armando Vera, followed by a plated dinner from Lolik Catering. Speeches were heartfelt, the cake cutting sweet, and once DJ Knight Sounds hit the floor, the party truly came alive.
