For the ceremony, they envisioned something floral, airy, and romantic—almost ethereal. For the reception, the direction shifted completely: moody, dark, edgy, with hints of cocktail lounge, speakeasy, and old Hollywood glamour. Not too boho. Not too traditional. Just the right amount of vintage, with a luxurious edge.

As we explored venues, it became clear that a wedding at The Stirling Club Las Vegas would allow us to create multiple, completely different atmospheres within one space.

The club itself is a swanky, upscale private membership venue with stunning event rooms that instantly elevate any celebration. It gave us the flexibility to transform each part of the wedding into its own world—while still keeping everything cohesive.

An Angelic Ceremony in the Stirling Room

For the ceremony, we completely transformed the Stirling Room.

We leaned into soft draping, light tones, and airy design elements to create a space that felt almost heaven-like—romantic, peaceful, and filled with intention. It was a complete contrast to what guests would later experience.

The live quartet added a layer of emotion that can’t be replicated. As Melanie walked down the aisle, the room felt still in the most beautiful way.

A Cocktail Hour That Felt Like a Private Party

As the ceremony transitioned into cocktail hour, the energy shifted effortlessly.

The space came alive with elevated lounge furniture, textured cocktail tables, flowing drinks, and music that felt fun without losing its sophistication. Guests mingled, played games, and settled into an atmosphere that felt less like a formal wedding and more like an intimate, curated gathering.

Meanwhile, Melanie and Colten stepped away for a private photo and film experience with Upon the Light Film and Verite Wedding Films — capturing moments that felt just as intentional as the celebration itself.

Then came the transformation.

The reception at the Spirits Lounge was everything the couple envisioned—and more.

Warm wooden tables and chairs grounded the space, while nearly 200 pillar candles created a glow that instantly shifted the mood into something deeper, more intimate, and undeniably romantic. It was cozy, dramatic, and immersive all at once.

Melanie added her personal touch through carefully selected details—gold charger plates, beautiful lamps, and curated stationery that tied everything together with a subtle vintage elegance.

A Dance Floor That Didn’t Slow Down

Music was one of the most important elements for Melanie and Colten. With their love for alternative rock woven into the playlist, the night took on a personality of its own. And once dinner wrapped, there was no hesitation.

DJ Vinh with Livinh Events created an experience that had everyone on their feet almost instantly. The energy in the room shifted from intimate dinner to full celebration in seconds—and it never dropped.

At its core, Melanie & Colten wanted their wedding to feel like them — not just a beautiful event, but a meaningful, shared experience with the people they love most.
