Post-pandemic destination wedding celebrations have come back with full force in 2021 and increased even more in 2022. Despite the challenges caused by COVID-19, couples hosted and continue hosting amazing weddings both at home and in such a fabulous place like Las Vegas. Currently, we expect roughly 2.5 million weddings to happen this year.

The Las Vegas destination wedding venues have had to learn to accommodate the CDC guidelines to be able to stay open for business, including providing onsite testing, temperature checks, vaccinated staff, and safety precautions to ensure all guests felt welcome and safe to attend a destination wedding.
Despite the increased expenses for the destination wedding businesses to maintain the guidelines, the financial requirements for the couples stayed pretty much the same. A destination wedding has always been a less expensive option because of fewer guests attending a wedding which leads to cost savings. All-inclusive destination wedding packages are a fantastic option to save money and time which is why they are so popular among couples. As an added bonus, couples stay at the same resort and combine their wedding weekend and their honeymoon.

Such fabulous resorts as Wynn, the Venetian, Bellagio, and the newly built Resorts World offer luxury hotel and casino, exclusive fine dining, and endless experiences which leads me to the next advantage of having a Las Vegas destination wedding.
Las Vegas is the capital of entertainment and dining options for guests to indulge in. They can enjoy a show, explore gourmet fine dining, discover awesome speakeasy places, and, of course, gamble. While everything comes at a price in Las Vegas, there are some free-of-charge entertainment options that I always recommend to my couples and their guests. While everyone heard of the Bellagio Fountains, not so many know about the Flamingo Wildlife habitat which is an idyllic escape from the buzz of Las Vegas.
