The Keep Memory Alive Wedding Extraordinaire

I am very proud of this Keep Memory Alive wedding project. Sam and Erik will forever be one of my favorite couples. Their vision, style, colors, and attitude to an event such as a wedding matched my preferences to the T. Let’s reminisce.

Wedding Vision

Sam and Erik reached out to me in July of 2021. We had a consultation and chatted a lot about their vision. The couple expected approximately 150 guests. Las Vegas was a central location for many of their families and friends to join the celebration. They were interested in something extraordinary, eclectic, and quirky. They were looking for options to provide a fusion of Southwestern and Taiwanese cuisines. And finally, they wanted to throw a celebration of a lifetime rather than a traditional “vanilla” event. All of their ideas were right up my alley. So, with tremendous excitement, I started planning their special day.

Wedding Venue

Working with clients like Sam and Erik allows me to discover and work with many great locations, venues, and vendors. Creating that special experience is what drives me every day. We reviewed several wedding venues as not every venue could easily accommodate the couple’s catering request. After trying for quite some time, we have found the winner. The Keep Memory Alive Center was the perfect venue that could bring the couple’s vision to life.

Designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, Keep Memory Alive Event Center is a 9,800-square-foot blank canvas that is a one-of-a-kind event space. It is a pinnacle of true imagination and design that exists for guests seeking the extraordinary. Naturally, Sam and Erik fell in love with the venue!

Wedding Catering

Another great trait was that we could pick and choose our catering team. We went with Cut and Taste as they checked off all the items we needed for this event. The quality, experience, and service are always outstanding. They were able to bring the couple’s catering vision to life. And they were a preferred vendor at the venue, so it was a match made in heaven.

Wedding Photography

Once we locked in the venue and the catering team, we proceeded to select our team of professionals for the wedding day. A Keep Memory Alive wedding had to have a team that could meet the standard and level of the event we were planning. And so we went with the specialists of their craft. Ella Gagiano Studios provided photography and did an outstanding job capturing the couple’s day just the way they envisioned. Ella highlighted the couple’s powerful bond and unique personalities. All the images you see in this blog were created by Ella Gagiano Studios.

Wedding Floral

Roots Flowers and Events created an elevated floral design for this event. I never need to worry about the product and design vision when I work with this floral team. They always go above and beyond and bring unique requests to life in the most creative way. We built a deconstructed arch for the wedding ceremony and went with floral arrangements for the reception in purple and lavender shades. We also incorporated a lot of candles to create a warm and festive atmosphere.

Wedding Entertainment

Knight Sounds Entertainment provided entertainment services. It is always a pleasure working with this team. They provided a DJ and an emcee team that kept the event going with lots of passion. We also booked a photo booth service, and I still get asked who that team was. They did an outstanding job for this Keep Memory Alive wedding.

Wedding Hair & Makeup

Beauty Studio Inc. made my bride feel and look beautiful. I am always thankful for their expertise and quality of service; they make all my brides feel special. Beauty Studio Inc. provided hair & makeup services for Sam’s engagement photoshoot and the wedding day itself. I always recommend my brides to do a trial because this way they can see whether the look they’re going for is actually for them. I love how Sam’s hair and makeup looked in her engagement photos. And love it even more in her wedding day photos.

Wedding Cake

Las Vegas Custom Cakes provided a wedding cake. I have been working with this vendor for many years because the taste and designs are always top-notch. The couple wanted a simple design with ribbons. They picked a cake topper to display their couple’s nickname “The McChangs” which consisted of their two last names combined.

I am excited to show the images from this Keep Memory Alive wedding. And I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. And don’t forget to review our other recent blog posts here.
