It was a nice Sunday afternoon when I felt like having some tea. A coffee drinker normally, I was in the mood for something refreshing but something that would not make me jittery. There were just a few hours before I would start my evening routine to get ready for bed, so tea seemed like a perfect choice.
“I should probably grab candies and enjoy it like high tea.” I thought to myself, smiled but then immediately felt a bit silly. Gosh, I always have to be that extra!
Nevertheless, I dug through some boxes with some old ceramic tea sets and found one that seemed perfect for my high tea table decor. It was in light pink and had heart-shaped plates. The next thing I know, the water in my kettle is getting cold while I set up the whole table for four as if I had company to join. I had some silk florals from my most recent photoshoot, some candles, and glassware that felt appropriate since I started this ordeal with the table decor.
“I can’t finish this look without napkins folded in some special fold.” I paused reviewing the table decor. There were some napkins in my closet that I stored for parties and events. The white ones seemed to be the perfect finishing touch to the overall setting.
Now that the high tea table decor was done, it was time to take pictures. I felt inspired and fun! And when I finished, I did drink some tea, and it felt like the fanciest tea I’ve ever had!
